IPP Profile Options

This topic outlines the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) printing profile options. These options apply to printer objects with the Use Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) option assigned on a printer object's Drivers / Profiles tab.

Profile Options

Title
Unique name given to the profile.
Comments
Description of the profile and the settings it enforces.

General

Media Size
Paper / media size. Supported options: Letter, Legal, Tabloid / Ledger, A3, A4, A5, Executive, Envelope #10, Envelope DL.
Media Source
Tray / Media Source. Supported options: Auto, Main, Alternative, Manual, Tray 1 - Tray 5.
Orientation
Supported options: Landscape, Reverse Landscape, Portrait, Reverse Portrait.
Pages per sheet
Supported options: 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, or 16 pages per sheet.
Print scaling
Supported options: Auto, Fit, Auto Fit, Fill, None.

Color & Quality

Color mode
Supported options: Color Black and White.
Print Quality
Supported options: Normal, High, Draft.
Resolution
Supported options: 300 dpi, 600 dpi, 1200 dpi, 2400 dpi.

Two-Sided

Sides
Supported options: One-Sided, Two-Sided, Long Edge, Two-Sided, Short Edge.

Job

Copies
Select how many copies occur for each print job.
Collate
Supported options: Collated, Uncollated.
