Vasion Storage is a cloud-hosted storage solution that provides secure file storage and a centralized location for managing files. Organize files in folders, share them with other users, and control access with permission settings to ensure uploaded files are accessible to specifically authorized users only.

Storage can perform optical character recognition (OCR) Optical character recognition (OCR) is the electronic conversion of images of typed or printed text into machine-encoded text. OCR allows for easier reading and searching of content. on uploaded documents and images so the extracted text is searchable. Storage tracks storage usage, input and output operations, and sharing activity for billing and security purposes.

How Storage Works

Storage provides cloud-based file management with folder organization and user collaboration features:

• Folder management: Create and organize folders to structure your files. Create nested folder hierarchies, rename folders, and delete folders.
• File operations: Upload files to folders, download files, and delete files. Deleted files move to the Trash tab where you can restore or permanently remove them.
• Sharing and permissions: Share files and folders with other Vasion Automate users in your organization. Assign permissions to control access:
  • Owner: This permission provides full control, including the ability to share with others.
  • Editor: This permission provides the ability to add, modify, and delete files.
  • Viewer: This permission proves read-only access to view and download files.
• Audit history: Admins can access audit history from the Storage Admin page to track storage activity, including uploads, downloads, sharing actions, and deletions.
