PrinterLogic

• Multi-Badge Management: Allows a single user to have multiple badge IDs assigned and managed through SCIM, automatically reconciling badge arrays to add, retain, or remove assignments without manual intervention.
• Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) (macOS / Linux): Adds native IPP support to the macOS and Linux Agents, enabling driverless printer deployment without requiring manufacturer-specific drivers.
• Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) (Windows) & Protected Print (WPP): Adds IPP support for Windows Agents, enabling driverless printer deployment without requiring a manufacturer-specific driver. Also supports Windows Protected Print (WPP) mode, which restricts printing to IPP-class printers and is required for devices running in WPP-only environments.
• Windows ARM Support: The Windows Agent now runs natively on ARM-based Windows devices. IPP printers are fully supported on ARM; driver-based printing has limited coverage on ARM hardware.
• Print To Automate: Connects print events directly to archival, workflow routing, and signature collection in Vasion Automate through three capabilities:
  • Print To Archive: Runs in the background without any user interaction. Admins configure a workflow that fires on print jobs at a global or per printer level, and the document is automatically stored in Vasion Storage or a connected third-party storage system.
  • Print To Workflow: Lets users intentionally route a document into a Vasion Automate workflow directly from the print dialog. Users select Send To Vasion Automate as their print destination, choose a workflow from a list of ones they have permissions for, and the document is submitted. No physical print is produced.
  • Print To Sign: Lets users send a document for electronic signature directly from the print dialog. Users select Send to Vasion Sign and the document is immediately routed to Vasion Sign for signature collection. No workflow selection step is required, and no physical print is produced.
• Bring Your Own SMTP (BYO SMTP) : Strengthens Scan to Email security with two encryption options: Encryption at Rest, which applies AES encryption at the file level, and S/MIME, which adds certificate-based end-to-end payload encryption.
• Scan to Home: Enables users to scan documents directly from an multifunction printer (MFP) to their personal Active Directory home directory using their own credentials, with user identity preserved in file metadata for access control and audit trail requirements.
• Scan to Workflow: Allows users to trigger Vasion Automate workflows directly from the MFP scanning interface, automatically routing the scanned file with full metadata passed to the workflow.
• Searchable PDF: Automatically applies OCR to scanned documents at scan time, producing a PDF with an embedded text layer that supports full-text search, text selection, and copying with no post-processing required.
• Users Page: Added user search capabilities to the Tools Users page.
• Continuous Scan: Batch scan with the automatic document feeder (ADF), the glass, or both and receive one combined PDF instead of separate documents. Added support for Kyocera devices.
• PrinterLogic Output: New advanced settings control how long the service retains print jobs before removal and how the system triggers cleanup of those eligible jobs.

This hotfix addressed the following:

• Resolved an issue where Ricoh device APKs failed to install after being signed with an expired beta certificate. Ricoh devices can now successfully install the Control Panel Application (CPA). PI-79496
