The new Vasion Automation Intelligence (VAI) Print Agent brings AI-driven automation to print infrastructure management. Built to support IT admins, the agent simplifies complex, repetitive tasks by observing your environment and applying changes in bulk—so you can maintain consistency, reduce effort, and scale faster.

Vasion Output

Vasion Output introduces powerful new features designed to simplify configuration, enhance integration, and improve visibility across your print environment:

• Output Console updates: Cancel print jobs and release held print jobs. For more details refer to Output Console: Print Job Actions.
• Custom Print Job Fields to further organize your Output Console. For more details refer to Custom Print Job Fields.
• SAP Connector which links an Output service to SAP using a RESTful web API. For more details refer to Configure SAP Integration.
• API Cloud Link which connects to API tools in the Cloud. For more details refer to Configure API Cloud Link.
• Printer Synchronization List API which pulls a list of your Vasion printers to populate the list into customer applications rather than manually adding or importing them. For more details refer to Printer Synchronization List.

Vasion Print

• Delegated Release is an expansion of the Direct Secure Release print feature. With Delegated Release, the initiator (the user who sent the print job) defines delegates who can release print jobs from the Control Panel Application (CPA) for them. For more details refer to Delegated Release and Delegated Release Guide.
• Microsoft Microsoft Intune enables secure, compliant printing directly from mobile devices. Vasion's Microsoft Intune integration streamlines authentication by automatically detecting managed environments, and maintains strict security controls while giving users seamless access to mobile printing capabilities. For more details refer to Entra OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Offline Secure Release Print now offers support for macOS / Linux devices.
• Simplified Scanning introduces new Scan to Network functionality simplifies document routing by allowing users to scan directly to secure, on-premise network drives, no cloud storage required. • With the change to Scheduled Release SaaS (SRS), the static.cdn URL, used for the delivery of static assets like UI pages, requires the regional identifier. For more details refer to Allow Lists.

Prioritize Workstation Release

Vasion introduced a new setting for the Offline Secure Release Print (OSRP) feature, Prioritize Workstation Release, found on the Admin Console's Tools Settings Printing page.

When enabled, this setting introduces a short delay, allowing the service to see if the workstation Client is online to release the job before releasing it through the OSRP Client. This setting improves OSRP communication and can reduce the delay when OSRP jobs get released.
