Print to Automate

Connects Vasion Print directly to Vasion Automate, enabling scanned documents, print jobs, and output rules to trigger Automate workflows. Sub-features include Scan to Workflow, Print to Workflow, Output to Workflow, and Print to Archive.

Imprivata Integration

Integrates Vasion Print with Imprivata to support badge-based authentication at the printer, allowing users to authenticate and release jobs using their existing Imprivata credentials.

IPP Printing (Windows, macOS, Linux)

Adds Internet Printing Protocol support across Windows, macOS, and Linux — including Windows ARM — enabling printer installation and job submission without traditional port monitor or driver dependencies.

Active Directory Query eXecutor (ADQX)

Enables Vasion Print to query Active Directory directly for user identity resolution, replacing legacy LDAP lookup methods with a faster, more flexible query engine.

Job History / Output Job History

Surfaces a per-job history record in the Output Console, giving administrators visibility into the lifecycle and status changes of individual print jobs.

Badge Management (Multi-Badge)

Allows a single user to have multiple badge IDs assigned via SCIM or API, supporting environments like healthcare and manufacturing where badge rotation, sharing, and reassignment are common.

Print Job Release Order

Ensures batched secure print jobs output in the order they were submitted (FIFO), eliminating the need to manually sort documents after picking them up from the printer.

Printer Status Report

Provides real-time visibility into printer queue health across the environment, showing active, held, and currently printing job counts per printer with configurable refresh and export options.

Vasion Storage: Full Text Search, Third-Party Storage, Unified Storage

Covers OCR-indexed full text search across stored documents, third-party storage destinations (OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive) in workflow steps, and the unified interface for managing storage connections.

Storage Admin Dashboard

Gives administrators a centralized view of storage usage, warning thresholds, trash retention policy, and OCR indexing settings across the Vasion Storage environment.

Control Panel Application (CPA)

This release addresses several device-specific issues across Canon, Kyocera, Ricoh, and HP hardware, including a Canon login loop, incorrect scan orientation on Kyocera, a missing file path in Scan to Home emails, an interrupted X-SS-AccessToken on Ricoh, and Imprivata badge routing logic that persisted even when the toggle was disabled.

Document Automation

Corrected failures in the storage workflow step where retries were not handled correctly, leaving orphaned files and permissions in Vasion Storage, and a pagination bug that caused trashed files to appear in My Files.

Output Automation

Corrected inaccurate job data reporting from the Output API.

Secure Release Print

Fixed Off-Network Print job failures caused by special characters (such as asterisks) in printer names, and improved Delegated Release resilience when identity records have missing usernames or email addresses.

Print Platform

This release clears a significant backlog of customer-reported bugs, including CSV report delivery failures, Data Manager rename and export issues, broken badge registration from the user portal, Portal Security not applying for IdP users, incorrect serial numbers in the Records Report, and missing print job purging in SaaS environments.

Vasion Automate

Addressed personal connections appearing in Scan Settings and workflow tasks that couldn't complete when workflow variables were absent.
