Vasion Automate

Business Rule Step

The Business Rule step is a Vasion Automate Workflow step that outputs a value based on rules you define. This step checks each rule in order and returns the output from the first rule that matches.

Key benefits include:

  • Build rules from form fields, document metadata, or fields extracted by an Intelligent Document Processing step.
  • Combine multiple conditions in a single rule, and require all or any of them to match.
  • Set the output type to Text, Number, Yes / No, or Assignee, and select a fallback value to use when no rule matches.

For more details refer to Business Rule.

File & Folder Moving

You can now move multiple files and folders with a single command. When you have selected multiple files, select move to move them all simultaneously.

Key benefits include:

  • Save time on moving files by moving them in batches.
  • Keep organized by ensuring all of your documents are in the correct locations.

For more details refer to Manage Storage.

Checkbox & Date Signed Fields

You can now add date fields that populate when the document is submitted, as well as checkboxes. Use these fields to further extend the data capture abilities of your signature documents.

Key benefits include:

  • Capture dates of document signatures accurately through auto-populating date fields.
  • Gather data on optional choices through the use of checkboxes.
  • Extend the use of signature documents by utilizing the variety of fields available.

For more details refer to Fields Reference.

PrinterLogic

Third-Party PSA Support

Third-Party PSA Support allows PrinterLogic to run alongside common original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Print Support Apps (PSAs), preserving manufacturer-specific print features when you move to Windows Protected Print (WPP), adopt Windows on ARM devices, or use Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) driverless printing.

Key benefits include:

  • Preserve OEM device-specific features, such as finishing options, secure release codes, and tray control, on the driverless print path.
  • Supports Windows Protected Print (WPP), Windows on ARM, and IPP printing environments.
  • PrinterLogic validates PSA compatibility, so you can confirm support before you deploy.

For more details refer to Third-Party PSA.

IPP Profiles

An IPP profile is a preconfigured set of print settings that PrinterLogic enforces on the IPP, or driverless, print path without a driver. IPP profiles extend the existing Profile Management feature, bringing the same setting enforcement to driverless printing that driver profiles provide for driver-based printing.

Key benefits include:

  • Standardize settings such as duplex, color, paper size, tray, quality, and finishing on IPP printers.
  • Keep print settings consistent as you move printers from driver-based to IPP, or driverless, printing.
  • IPP profiles appear alongside driver profiles in the Driver / Profile Repository, so you manage both from one place.

For more details refer to IPP Profiles.

SNMP Statistics Dashboard (Beta)

SNMP Statistics Dashboard gives you aggregated, fleet-level insight into your printers directly in the Admin Console. Instead of checking printers one at a time, you select any folder in the tree structure and see combined metrics for every printer in that folder and its subfolders, drawn from data collected through Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).

This feature is in beta. Contact your Vasion representative for more information.

Key benefits include:

  • View total printers, total page count, average page count, and operational state for any folder in the tree structure, from a single location to your entire fleet.
  • Selecting the root folder shows statistics for your entire printer fleet.
  • Data Freshness indicates how recently statistics were collected, so you can confirm the data is current before you act on it.

For more details refer to SNMP Statistics Dashboard.

Service Agent Dashboard (Beta)

The Service Agent Dashboard provides a single-pane fleet view of every Service Agent in your PrinterLogic environment. From one screen, you see the health status, auto-update state, and last-online timestamp for each Service Agent, and you can apply bulk configuration changes across the fleet in one action.

This feature is in beta. Contact your Vasion representative for more information.

Key benefits include:

  • View health status, Auto Updates state, and Last Online timestamp for every registered Service Agent from a single dashboard.
  • Expand any Service Agent row to inspect the version, status, uptime, and diagnostic details of each running service.
  • Apply bulk configuration changes across multiple selected Service Agents in a single operation, instead of updating each one individually.

For more details refer to Service Agent Dashboard.
