Business Process Workflows

Business Process workflows now support cloning. Select the Make a Copy option in the more menu next to the workflow to create a copy. For more details refer to Business Process.

Bring Your Own SMTP

You can now configure your own Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server for Scan to Email. This update gives you more control over email delivery and lets you use your organization's existing email infrastructure for scanned documents.

Key benefits include:

• Full control over email delivery, security, and compliance.
• Supports configuration at the global and Service Client levels.
• Supports SMTP server authentication using a username and password for mail server and Google Workspace.
• Supports SMTP server authentication using Open Authorization (OAuth) 2.0 for Microsoft Exchange.

Continuous Scan

Toshiba e-Studio and Konica Minolta bEST-certified devices now support combining multiple scan jobs into a single PDF. Scan individual pages from the glass, batch scan large documents from the automatic document feeder (ADF), or mix both sources without manually merging files.

Key benefits include:

• Combines multiple scan job from the glass, the ADF, or both and sends one combined PDF document.
• Designed for high-volume, multipage, and mixed-media workflows.

Mobile Fleet Installer

The Mobile Fleet Installer provides a new approach to installing the Control Panel Application (CPA) by adding a delegated installer Service Client, typically hosted in the cloud or a central data center, that installs the CPA. After the initial installation, a second assigned Service Client handles authentication and feature communication. This enhancement simplifies CPA installation at remote locations, centralizing the installation process.

Key benefits include:

• Reduces the number of on-site visits and maintains consistent CPA configurations across remote locations.
• Lets you remotely manage CPA installations and updates.
