Infor Integration
Last Updated: October 23, 2026
PrinterLogic Output is a cloud-native print management platform that Infor Document Management (IDM) supports as an additional cloud print provider alongside Infor Enterprise Print (IEP). You configure each printer to use either provider, and IDM routes each print job to the correct one based on the printer ID. For PrinterLogic Output printers, the integration lets you manage printers, drivers, and print delivery without relying on an on-premises print server.
Key Points
- PrinterLogic Output integrates with IDM as an additional cloud print provider, so you can manage supported printers without an on-premises print server.
- IDM routes each print job to the correct provider, IEP or PrinterLogic Output, based on the printer ID, so both providers can run on the same tenant.
- Existing IEP printers and print workflows continue to work unless you choose to migrate or reconfigure them.
- You can migrate printers from IEP to PrinterLogic Output at your own pace, or run both providers indefinitely.
- You must coordinate with IDM support to turn on the API Cloud Link feature flag before the integration appears in IDM.
How the Infor Integration Works
IDM supports PrinterLogic Output as an additional cloud print provider alongside IEP. IDM manages both providers at the same time and routes each print job to the correct one based on the printer ID.
The integration relies on three components working together:
- Service Agent: You install the Agent on a machine and configure it to run the Internal Routing Service (IRS), which routes jobs to printers.
- PrinterLogic Admin Console: You add and manage printers here. A printer must exist in the Admin Console before IDM can register it.
- IDM Control Center: You register a PrinterLogic Output site in IDM using credentials generated in the Admin Console, then register individual printers so they appear in the IDM printer list.
When a user prints, IDM checks the printer ID and sends the job to the matching provider, either IEP or PrinterLogic Output. For PrinterLogic Output printers, IDM sends the job to API Cloud Link in the Vasion cloud. The IRS Service Agent then downloads the job from the cloud and delivers it to the target printer over the customer network. The end-user device does not take part in this print path.
This provider-based routing model allows you to adopt PrinterLogic Output gradually, and migrate printers from IEP to PrinterLogic Output over time, or run both providers indefinitely, without disrupting existing print workflows.
Requirements
- Vasion licensing for both PrinterLogic Output, which includes Off-Network Print.
- Access to the PrinterLogicAdmin Console.
- At least one or more printers created in the Admin Console. For more details refer to Add & Manage Printers.
- Printers configured for Off-Network Printing.
- At least one Service Agent configured as the Internal Routing Service (IRS). For more details refer to Service Agent Setup.
- Your Service Agent must be able to access the following service URLs adjusted for your region.
- ofn.app.printercloud.com.
- ofn-gw-app.printercloud.com
- API Cloud Link enabled for the instance.
- The IDM Administrator role.
- The ENABLE_PRINT_SERVICE_VASION feature flag enabled for your IDM tenant
