If your administrator implemented single sign-on (SSO), there might be a few ways that you can sign in. Depending on the configuration, the Agent Software installed on a server or device that communicates with the PrinterLogic instance. The Agent installs and manages printers. may access your credentials and automatically sign you in. Signing in with your identity provider's credentials ensures that you are allowed to release pull A virtual print queue that holds a print job on the user's device until the user authenticates and releases it to a pull print-enabled printer. and secure print A printing method that holds print jobs in a queue until the user authenticates at the printer. Users authenticate using a PIN, password, or badge, preventing unauthorized access to sensitive documents. jobs, access the Self-service Portal, and receive automatic printer deployments.
If you are not automatically signed in to the Agent, the information below explains how to manually sign in and out.
Sign In to the Agent

Locate the Agent icon
in your system tray. - Right-click on the icon to access the menu.

Select Login with IdP.
- Enter your credentials in the browser window.

Close the browser window after you finish signing in.
You should also see a modal letting you know it's refreshing all configuration. This is the Agent checking in with the instance and updating any settings and printer deployments related to the signed in user.
Sign In to the Self-service Portal
Some things you should know about the portal:
- If the Self-service Portal opens without the sign in prompt, you are already signed in.
- You can find options to sign in or sign out under Menu.
- Navigate to the Self-service Portal.

If prompted, select the button for your configured provider.
- Follow the identity provider sign in experience.

After you sign in, you can close the confirmation window.

Sign Out of the Agent

Locate the Agent icon
in your system tray. - Right-click on the icon to access the menu.

Select Logout <username>.
