Connect Oracle Fusion
Last Updated: April 07, 2026
API Cloud Link enables direct acceptance of IPP print job requests from Oracle Fusion's cloud service to Vasion Output's cloud service, eliminating the need for customers to open their firewall for printers and print servers.
This connection requires some additional configurations within Oracle Fusion, outlined below.
Key Points
- In Oracle Fusion printers are referred to as "servers" because the system is not connecting directly to the physical device. Instead the system connects to a software application that manages and processes print requests across the network.
- In the steps below, you create a "server" for each printer, or edit an existing "server".
Requirements
- When adding the endpoint for each printer, the <Printer_Name> portion must match the printer object name in the Admin Console.
- Complete the steps on Configure API Cloud Link to enable the feature and generate the API Token.
Select or Add Printers
To select or create Oracle Fusion printers:
- Go to the Administration section within the Oracle Fusion portal.
- Select Printer.
- In the Delivery section, select the Printer tab.
- Select an existing "server" to edit, or select Add Server to create a new printer.
Configure Printer Settings
There are three settings on the Update Server or Add Server page that require configuration for Vasion Output.
-
In the Update Server or Add Server page, add the endpoint below to the Oracle Fusion URI field.
- The printercloud.com portion must be adjusted for your region.
- Add the server / printer name to the <Printer_Name> portion.
- In the Security section, enter admin in the Username field.
- Enter the API Token you generated in Vasion Print in the Password field.
- Configure other settings as needed.
- Select Apply.
- Repeat for each server / printer in Oracle Fusion.
This creates a connection between Vasion Output and Oracle Fusion that accepts IPP print job requests between services.
