Add Document Event Trigger

Add a document event trigger to your workflow so it starts automatically when a user scans, prints, or routes documents through Output Rules.

Add an Event Trigger

Follow these steps:

  1. In Vasion Automate select Workflow and then Business Process.
  2. Select + New Workflow.

  3. On the Let's get started modal, enter a name for the new workflow, and select Continue.

  4. Select Document event.

  5. Select triggers:

    1. Document scan: Trigger the workflow when an assigned user scans.
    2. Print Capture: Trigger the workflow when an assigned user prints.
    3. Output Rules: Trigger the workflow when an existing rule is triggered.
  6. Select Continue.
  7. Add additional workflow steps.
