Signature Auditing

Last Updated: May 19, 2026

The Audit Log and Certificate of Completion features in Vasion Sign give you visibility into every stage of the signing process. Use the Audit Log to gain insight into document progress by viewing all signer interactions with a sent document, including views, signatures, and rejections with timestamps and IP addresses. Vasion generates a Certificate of Completion at the end of the signing process, which provides proof that all required parties signed a document.

Key Points

Review the following key points:

  • Confirm when, how, and which signers interacted with a document, so you can ensure business processes continue as planned.
  • View and export the Audit Log for reporting.
  • View and download the complete document and the Certificate of Completion for reporting.

How Signature Auditing Works

Audit Log

When you send a document for signature, Sign records all interactions with that document. Each time a signer views, signs, or declines the document, Vasion logs the person, action, timestamp, and the IP address from which the action was performed. You can view and export the Audit Log at any time. For more details refer to Audit Log.

Certificate of Completion

When all required signers finish signing a document, Vasion generates a Certificate of Completion and emails it and the completed document to you and all signers. You can also download the certificate and completed document at any time from Sign. For more details refer to Certificate of Completion.
