A Vasion Sign document is a PDF that you configure, send to one or more signers, and track through the signing process. You can build a document manually or use a reusable template to send a preconfigured document.
Key Points
Review the following key points:
- Add one or more signers to a document and route it sequentially or all at once.
- Save a document as a draft to finish configuring it later.
- Track the status of every document you send on the Sent tab in Sign.
How Documents Work
When you create a document, you upload a PDF, add signers, and place fields on the document for each signer to complete. You can save the document as a draft before sending.
After you send the document, Sign tracks every signer interaction and updates the document status in real time on the Sent tab:
- In Progress: The document is sent and awaiting one or more signatures.
- Completed: All assigned signers have signed the document.
- Declined: One or more signers declined to sign the document.
When all required signers finish signing, Vasion generates a Certificate of Completion and emails it and the completed document to you and all signers. For more details refer to Signature Auditing.
