Platform Usage

Last Updated: October 23, 2026

The Usage dashboard visibility gives platform admins a centralized view of license and consumption data across PrinterLogic, PrinterLogic Output, and Vasion Automate. Instead of discovering a limit issue through a support ticket or a conversation with your Customer Success contact, you monitor consumption against your purchased allocation from a single screen.

Key Points

  • The Usage dashboard meters consumption by line item across the platform.
  • Threshold notifications alert you at 80%, 90%, 95%, and 100% of your purchased allocation.
  • When available Logics reach zero, Vasion blocks new workflow runs and document sends; work already in progress finishes normally. When a Queue publish would exceed your purchased allocation, Vasion blocks the publish.
  • You can enable an overage limiter to allow Logics consumption beyond your purchased allotment. Overages charge at normal pricing on the next month's invoice.
  • For features that are not licensed, the line item displays Not enabled instead of a usage count.
  • If a feature is not set up, the line item displays Not tracked instead of a usage count.

How the Usage Dashboard Works

The Usage dashboard lists each licensed line item with its current consumption against your purchased allocation, driven by entitlement and allocation data. As consumption approaches your limit, Vasion sends threshold notifications at 80%, 90%, 95%, and 100%. If you reach zero available Logics, Vasion blocks new workflow runs and document sends until you free up capacity or increase your allotment; in-flight work is not interrupted. If a Queue publish would put you over your purchased Queue allocation, Vasion blocks that publish. You can turn on an overage limiter to allow Logics use past your purchased amount instead of being blocked outright. Allocation that already exceeds your purchased limit at launch is included and does not trigger enforcement. However, no additional consumption of logic or queues is permitted while over the purchased limit. For queues, customers must unallocate existing queues to reclaim those allocation slots before they can be reassigned.

To request more capacity for any line item, hover on the item and select + Add More. Vasion shows the line item's consumption details, then connects you with your account representative to request the additional capacity. Partners see the same usage data for the tenants they manage in the MSP Portal.

Requirements

Review the following requirements:

  • An Admin role is required to view the Usage screen.
  • Consumption data for a line item is available only if your organization has an active license for that product or add-on.
