EMR Server Mode

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Print Server Mode is a legacy setting for the Virtual Appliance, and streamlined aspects of the Agent to better handle print servers with thousands of queues while limiting the deployment of queues to locations with the proper registry entry.

The PrinterLogic Output solution replaced and expanded upon the integration with EMR systems.

Requirements

  • An existing EMR environment and print servers in place.
  • Licensing for Epic printing.

Turn On EMR Print Server Mode

  1. Go to the Server Mode section on Tools then Settings then General.
  2. Select the box for Enable EMR print server mode.
  3. Select Save in the upper-right corner.
