- Bring Your Own (BYO) SMTP: You can now configure your own Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server for Scan to Email. This update gives you more control over email delivery and lets you use your organization's existing email infrastructure for scanned documents. This feature supports username/password authentication for SMTP servers and Google Workspace, and OAuth 2.0 for Microsoft Exchange. This feature is in beta, and is only available upon request. Contact your Vasion representative with questions or to enable this feature. For more details refer to BYTO SMTP.
- Continuous Scan: Toshiba e-Studio and Konica Minolta bEST-certified devices now support combining multiple scan jobs into a single PDF. Scan individual pages from the glass, batch scan large documents from the automatic document feeder (ADF), or mix both sources without manually merging files. For more details refer to Continuous Scan.
-
Delegated Release: An expansion of the Direct Secure Release print feature. Direct Secure Release is a secure printing method that holds documents in a print queue until the authorized user releases them at a printer. With Delegated Release the initiator, which is the user who sent the print job, defines delegates who can release print jobs at the Control Panel Application (CPA) on their behalf. For more details refer to Delegated Release.
